1. If the workers compensation claim is accepted, weekly compensation for lost wages is paid under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld). The first week is paid by the employer. It stops at the first of return to work and earning, a lump sum offer, five years of weekly payments, or the maximum amount.
2. The amount depends on the work capacity certificate, the date of injury, the date a doctor first assessed the injury, how long compensation has been received, any award, normal weekly earnings, and QOTE. Do not insert a QOTE dollar figure.
3. The Motor Accident Insurance Commission states that the Civil Liability Act 2003 (Qld) applies to accidents on or after 2 December 2002 and is read with the Motor Accident Insurance Act 1994 (Qld). Certain amounts under the 1994 Act are indexed annually.

## Notes
