## Key facts

| How AI is used | Organise a chronology from the board and disclosure-committee papers, emails and draft documents: when each officer came to know each item of information, what the committee recorded about market sensitivity, confidentiality and any Listing Rule 3.1A exception relied on, and any media or market movement noted. The tool writes no part of any announcement or of the committee’s reasons. |
| What the lawyer must review | The lawyer and the disclosure committee decide when the entity became aware, whether the information is market sensitive, whether an exception applies and still applies, whether a trading halt is needed, and settle every announcement. |

## Checking plan

**Lawyer-led judgement**

The lawyer makes the substantive assessment. Any permitted AI assistance remains supporting work with its own checks.

- What the AI does: Organise a chronology from the board and disclosure-committee papers, emails and draft documents: when each officer came to know each item of information, what the committee recorded about market sensitivity, confidentiality and any Listing Rule 3.1A exception relied on, and any media or market movement noted. The tool writes no part of any announcement or of the committee’s reasons.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer and the disclosure committee decide when the entity became aware, whether the information is market sensitive, whether an exception applies and still applies, whether a trading halt is needed, and settle every announcement.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.
- Restriction: The lawyer makes the substantive assessment. Any permitted AI assistance remains supporting work with its own checks.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. Check each awareness entry against the document that shows the officer had the information.
2. Confirm the confidentiality limb of the 3.1A exception is re-tested at each entry, including after any media report or unusual trading.
3. Confirm the committee’s reasons are its own words and are not paraphrased by the tool.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
