## Key facts

| Fact | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Practice area | [Health & Medical Law](https://ailawframework.com/practice/health-and-medical-law.md) |
| Human involvement | Yellow: Lawyer and AI draft together |
| How AI is used | From the incident file, list each document, who prepared it, and whether the file says it was prepared for an assessor or a review team. Do not say that a document is privileged and do not draft a response to a notice to produce. |
| What the lawyer must review | The lawyer decides which documents are covered by the evidence restrictions and what, if anything, is produced. |

## Checking plan

**Incident-review documents**

Sort the file into assessor advice, team reports and other documents, and leave production to the lawyer.

- What the AI does: From the incident file, list each document, who prepared it, and whether the file says it was prepared for an assessor or a review team. Do not say that a document is privileged and do not draft a response to a notice to produce.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer decides which documents are covered by the evidence restrictions and what, if anything, is produced.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. Do not treat the glossary's reference to section 23 as the whole of the evidence rule. Read sections 21O and 21P of the Act that was opened.
2. The regulation that defines a reportable incident was not opened. Do not invent the list.
3. PD2020_047 was not opened.
4. The lawyer writes any answer to a notice to produce. The index does not.
5. This index is not the incident-reporting map and it is not a coronial brief.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
