| What the lawyer must review | Section 6803(a) requires a financial institution, at the time it establishes a customer relationship and not less than annually during that relationship, to provide a clear and conspicuous disclosure of its policies on disclosing nonpublic personal information to affiliates and nonaffiliated third parties, on disclosing that information of former customers, and on protecting consumers' nonpublic personal information. Subsection (c) requires the disclosure to cover policies for disclosure to nonaffiliated third parties other than agents, including categories of persons and former customers, the categories of nonpublic personal information collected, the policies for protecting confidentiality and security in accordance with section 6801, and the disclosures required, if any, under section 1681a(d)(2)(A)(iii). Subsection (e) says an institution that elects to provide the agencies' model form is deemed in compliance. The model form was not opened. Subsection (f) removes the annual notice only while the institution both limits disclosure as section 6802(b)(2) or (e), or regulations under section 6804(b), provide, and has not changed the policies in its most recent disclosure. The notice that will be sent is written by the lawyer. Regulation P was not opened. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: List the section 6803 topics and mark whether the current notice in the file addresses each one, with the page. Write no notice sentence.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- The tool writes nothing that is sent to a customer.
- Do not treat a notice as compliant because it resembles a model form unless the institution elected that form.
