| How AI is used | List each claim the lawyer marks: the holder, the amount, whether the lawyer marks it as contingent or disputed, and any lien the paper states. Do not draft a petition and do not say a case may be commenced. |
| What the lawyer must review | You decide whether to file and you write the petition. Section 303(a) says an involuntary case may be commenced only under chapter 7 or chapter 11, and only against a person that may be a debtor under that chapter, except a farmer, a family farmer, or a corporation that is not a moneyed, business, or commercial corporation. Section 303(b)(1) is three or more entities whose noncontingent, undisputed claims aggregate at least the stated amount more than the value of liens securing those claims. Section 303(b)(2) is a different path, used if there are fewer than 12 such holders, excluding employees, insiders, and stated transferees. Subsections (b)(3) and (b)(4) are further paths for a partnership and for a foreign representative. The code line prints $10,000. A note on the same page says a Judicial Conference notice dated January 30, 2025, 90 F.R. 8941, effective April 1, 2025, adjusted the dollar amount in (b)(1) and (b)(2) from 18,600 to 21,050. You confirm the amount in force. The tool applies neither figure. Section 303(h) is the standard for an order for relief after the petition. It is not an act of bankruptcy, and an unpaid demand is not that standard. The word timely in (h) is not given a day count in the section. No bankruptcy-procedure rule on the time to answer was opened. Section 501 is a proof of claim in a case that exists. It is not this petition. You write every sentence that is filed. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: List each claim the lawyer marks: the holder, the amount, whether the lawyer marks it as contingent or disputed, and any lien the paper states. Do not draft a petition and do not say a case may be commenced.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- Do not treat a judgment or a demand as a petition.
- Do not choose between $10,000 and 21,050. You confirm the adjusted amount.
