## Key facts

| Fact | Value |

| Human involvement | Yellow: Lawyer and AI draft together |
| How AI is used | List each finding the inquest record already states, and the page of each. Write no submission and no request that a finding be changed. |
| What the lawyer must review | Minnesota Statutes section 390.11, subdivision 5, makes an inquest optional and provides for a county-attorney subpoena. It does not provide for submissions by a party on the findings, and it does not require an organization to answer a recommendation. The record and report of the inquest may not be used in evidence in any civil action arising out of the death. That limit is not a waiver of any other rule of evidence. The CDC page states that each state sets its own standards and does not say that coroners issue recommendations an organization must answer. You write any submission the forum actually allows, after you open the rules of that forum. This index is not the autopsy-report index. Opinion 512. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: List each finding the inquest record already states, and the page of each. Write no submission and no request that a finding be changed.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- Do not draft a submission. The opened section does not provide one.
- An autopsy report is a different document. Do not mix the two indexes.
