## Checks the lawyer makes

2. Check each cancellation against the source record and identify who cancelled; never let a blank entry default to the parent.
3. Check the reason recorded for each cancellation against the department's own notes, and flag every occasion where no reason appears.
4. Compare the log against the client's account and list each discrepancy for instructions rather than resolving it inside the log.
5. Remove the venue address and the carer's identity from any version of the log that leaves the file.
