## Checking plan

**Source-by-source verification**

Count 14 days from the amendment, and add the member notice only where the amendment is material.

- What the AI does: From the date of the amendment, calculate 14 days to relodge, and list the free-copy duty and, if the amendment is material, the notice to members. For a registrable superannuation entity, list the website publication as well. Do not lodge the report.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer decides whether the amendment is material and authorises the relodgement and any notice to members.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. The 14 days run from the amendment, for a financial report, a sustainability report or a directors' report that has already been lodged.
2. A member who asks is given a copy free. For a notified foreign passport fund, that is an Australian member who asks.
3. A material amendment is notified to members as soon as practicable, with the nature of the amendment and the right to a copy. The lawyer decides whether it is material.
4. A registrable superannuation entity also publishes the amended report and a description of the amendment on its website on and after lodgement. The original annual and half-year clocks are a separate task.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
- Section 1232M was not opened.
