| How AI is used | Record the date and the parties on any irrevocable deregistration or export-request paper in the file. Do not file it and do not say it authorizes deregistration. |
| What the lawyer must review | You decide whether anything is filed with the registry. Section 49.1 applies to recording certain conveyances affecting title to, or any interest in, an aircraft registered under 49 U.S.C. §§ 44101-44104, a specifically identified engine of 550 or more rated takeoff horsepower, a specifically identified propeller able to absorb 750 or more rated takeoff shaft horsepower, and certain engines, propellers, appliances, and spare parts of an air carrier certificated under 49 U.S.C. § 44705. It does not say an export-request authorization is a conveyance. You decide whether the paper is one before you record it. Section 49.11 says that to be eligible for recording, a conveyance must be delivered to the Registry by a means and in a form acceptable to the Administrator, including electronic or digital forms. It states no priority. Section 47.3(a) states when an aircraft may be registered. Section 47.3(b) says no person may operate an eligible aircraft unless it has been registered by its owner, is carrying the temporary authorization in § 47.31(c), or is an Armed Forces aircraft. Section 47.31(c) was not opened. None of these sections authorizes the tool to deregister an aircraft or to act on the request. Model Rule 1.4(b) is the explanation. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: Record the date and the parties on any irrevocable deregistration or export-request paper in the file. Do not file it and do not say it authorizes deregistration.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- Do not treat the export request as a recorded conveyance. You decide that.
- Section 47.31(c) was not opened. Do not describe the temporary authorization.
