| How AI is used | For each legal or factual citation in the draft, list the source in the file that matches it, or mark that no source is in the file. Do not add a citation. |
| What the lawyer must review | Formal Opinion 512: a generative tool can hallucinate a plausible citation. The lawyer makes the inquiry before the submission is served. If the same text is later filed in a district court, Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11(b) is the lawyer’s certification. Inside the arbitration, 9 U.S.C. § 2 enforces the written agreement and does not check citations. Model Rule 1.1 requires the lawyer to bring the knowledge reasonably necessary for the representation. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: For each legal or factual citation in the draft, list the source in the file that matches it, or mark that no source is in the file. Do not add a citation.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- Rule 11 applies when a paper is presented to a federal district court. It is not the rule of the arbitration.
- A citation the tool cannot find may still exist. The lawyer searches it. A citation the tool invents is not added.
