## Checking plan

**Source-by-source verification**

Trace relied-on content to independent sources and check for relevant material the output has missed.

- What the AI does: From the arbitration agreements and the rules they incorporate, list the article the application relies on, whether the tribunal has been confirmed, and the documents the protocol asks for. The tool does not write the application.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer decides whether joinder or consolidation is available, who must consent, and writes the application.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. For the ACICA Rules, use Article 17.8 for a joinder received before the tribunal is confirmed, and Articles 16 and 18 for consolidation.
2. Include the request, the answer and the comments the protocol sends to the advisory council.
3. Note the 10-day recommendation period and that the board is not bound by the recommendation.
4. The lawyer writes the application. Do not assume the same protocol applies to an arbitration under different rules.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
