| How AI is used | Set the arbitrator’s disclosure beside the parties, counsel, and witnesses in the file, and list each overlapping name with the sentence of the disclosure. Write no challenge. |
| What the lawyer must review | 9 U.S.C. § 10(a)(2) allows the district court where the award was made to vacate an award where there was evident partiality or corruption in the arbitrators, or either of them. The other grounds in § 10(a) are procurement of the award by corruption, fraud, or undue means; misconduct in refusing to postpone the hearing or to hear pertinent and material evidence, or other misbehavior that prejudiced a party; and exceeding powers, or so imperfectly executing them that a mutual, final, and definite award was not made. Section 10 operates after an award. No institutional rule setting a number of days to challenge an arbitrator during the case was opened. The lawyer writes any challenge. A challenge filed in district court is certified under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11(b). Notice of a motion to vacate must be served within three months after the award is filed or delivered, under 9 U.S.C. § 12. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: Set the arbitrator’s disclosure beside the parties, counsel, and witnesses in the file, and list each overlapping name with the sentence of the disclosure. Write no challenge.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- Do not invent a mid-case challenge deadline. The institutional rule, if any, is in the agreement or the rules the lawyer opens.
- A match of names is not a finding of evident partiality.
