| How AI is used | Against section 31, list whether the draft is in writing, who signed it, whether any omitted signature is explained, whether reasons are stated or an exception on the section applies, and whether the date and place are stated. The tool does not rewrite the award. |
| What the lawyer must review | The lawyer decides whether the award meets section 31 and what, if anything, must be corrected before copies are delivered. A correction request is a separate task. |

## Checking plan

**Source-by-source verification**

Trace relied-on content to independent sources and check for relevant material the output has missed.

- What the AI does: Against section 31, list whether the draft is in writing, who signed it, whether any omitted signature is explained, whether reasons are stated or an exception on the section applies, and whether the date and place are stated. The tool does not rewrite the award.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer decides whether the award meets section 31 and what, if anything, must be corrected before copies are delivered. A correction request is a separate task.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. Require writing, the majority signatures with a reason for any omission, reasons unless an exception on the section applies, a date, and the place of the arbitration.
2. Section 20 and section 30 were not opened. Do not add rules from them.
3. Comment on the draft. Do not insert text into the award. Delivery is of a copy signed in accordance with subsection (1).

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
