## Key facts

| Fact | Value |

| Practice area | [Anti-Discrimination & Industrial Relations](https://ailawframework.com/practice/anti-discrimination-and-industrial-relations.md) |
| Human involvement | Yellow: Lawyer and AI draft together |
| How AI is used | From the proposed single-enterprise agreement and the employee list the lawyer supplies, set out the employer and the employees the application must specify, whether a supported bargaining authorisation or an unexpired single-interest or supported bargaining agreement blocks the application, and the four matters in section 237(2). Count only the figures the lawyer supplies. The tool does not write or lodge the application. |
| What the lawyer must review | The lawyer decides whether an application can be made, whether the group was fairly chosen, and completes and lodges the application. |

## Checking plan

**Source-by-source verification**

Trace relied-on content to independent sources and check for relevant material the output has missed.

- What the AI does: From the proposed single-enterprise agreement and the employee list the lawyer supplies, set out the employer and the employees the application must specify, whether a supported bargaining authorisation or an unexpired single-interest or supported bargaining agreement blocks the application, and the four matters in section 237(2). Count only the figures the lawyer supplies. The tool does not write or lodge the application.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer decides whether an application can be made, whether the group was fairly chosen, and completes and lodges the application.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Practical workflow informed by the linked primary sources; the traffic light and working checks are editorial guidance, not a court classification.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. Confirm the agreement is a proposed single-enterprise agreement and that the applicant is a bargaining representative of an employee who will be covered.
2. Check the section 236(1A) and 236(1B) bars before an application is prepared.
3. Set the majority, the employer’s position, the fairly-chosen question and reasonableness as items for the lawyer, and do not treat a petition count as the Commission’s finding.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
