## Checking plan

**Advertisement check**

The tool marks the draft against the limits. The lawyer decides what may be published.

- What the AI does: Compare the draft advertisement, webpage or social post with the limits the lawyer identifies, and list each statement, image or claim of speciality that needs a decision. Do not publish the advertisement.
- What the lawyer does: The lawyer decides whether each line may be published, and in which medium. In Queensland, test the copy against section 66, including the own-website exception. Check specialist wording against rule 36.2 where the uniform conduct rules apply. The lawyer approves the final copy before it goes out.
- Who reviews: Responsible lawyer with competence in the matter
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 23 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.
- Why: The level reflects what the work is, the consequence of an error, and how much of the output the lawyer must independently re-derive.

## Checks the lawyer makes

1. In Queensland, anything beyond name, contact details and area of practice is checked against section 66(2), including the own-website limits.
2. A no win, no fee line is not treated as automatically allowed. The Act gives it as an example of a contravention of section 66(1).
3. Where the uniform rules apply, accredited-specialist wording is checked against rule 36.2.
4. A New South Wales work-injury advertisement is not passed or failed under clause 73 unless the publisher is an agent.

## Notes

- These are suggested working checks. Confirm the required checking with the responsible lawyer before work starts; the checking approach does not establish permission to use AI.
