- The text opened is the ABA Model Rule. The rule adopted in the lawyer's jurisdiction controls where it differs.
- Rule 3.3, quoted in the opinion, is about a statement to a tribunal. A public page that was never put before a tribunal is decided under Rule 7.1 unless the lawyer finds that it was also a statement to a tribunal.
