| Human involvement | Yellow: Lawyer and AI draft together |
| How AI is used | From the deployment record, list the decision, the date the system is to be used, and whether a notice to the consumer is already on the file. Do not send the notice. |
| What the lawyer must review | Section 6-1-1703(4)(a) requires the deployer, on and after 1 February 2026, and no later than the time the system is deployed to make or be a substantial factor in making a consequential decision, to notify the consumer before the decision is made, to give the statement the subsection describes, and, if applicable, to give the opt-out information that subsection points to. The lawyer decides whether the system is being used for a consequential decision and settles the notice. Section 6-1-1306, which the opt-out cross-reference cites, was not opened. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: From the deployment record, list the decision, the date the system is to be used, and whether a notice to the consumer is already on the file. Do not send the notice.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- The text opened is the signed act of 17 May 2024. It is a Colorado statute. Consumer means a Colorado resident. Confirm it is still the text in force. No other state's automated-decision statute was opened.
- The notice in subsection (4)(a) is not one of the duties that subsection (6) removes for a deployer who meets that subsection's conditions. The lawyer still checks those conditions before treating any other duty as inapplicable.
