## Key facts

| Fact | Value |

| Practice area | [AI decision systems (the firm's and clients')](https://ailawframework.com/obligations/ai-decision-systems.md) |
| Human involvement | Yellow: Lawyer and AI draft together |
| How AI is used | From the deployment list, record each high-risk system and the date of the last review the file shows. Do not decide that the system is free of algorithmic discrimination. |
| What the lawyer must review | Section 6-1-1703(3)(g) requires a deployer, or a third party the deployer contracts, on or before 1 February 2026 and at least annually after that, to review the deployment of each high-risk system the deployer has deployed, to ensure that the system is not causing algorithmic discrimination. This review is separate from the impact assessment in subsection (3)(a). The lawyer decides whether subsection (6) removes the duty, because subsection (6) removes subsection (3) only when every condition there is met, and decides what the review finds. |

## Checking plan

- What the AI does: From the deployment list, record each high-risk system and the date of the last review the file shows. Do not decide that the system is free of algorithmic discrimination.
- Basis: Checked against the linked sources on 22 October 2026. Confirm the current instrument before reliance.

## Notes

- The text opened is the signed act of 17 May 2024. It is a Colorado statute. Consumer means a Colorado resident. Confirm it is still the text in force. No other state's automated-decision statute was opened.
- The act says annually. It does not state a twelve-month period counted from a decision to deploy.
